This website is operated by Just Jigsaws. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Just Jigsaws.

By visiting our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with any additional policies referenced on our website, including our Refund & Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or placing an order.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your province or territory of residence.

You may not use our products or website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

You must not transmit viruses, malicious code or any other material that could damage or interfere with the operation of our website.

2. Custom & Personalised Products

Just Jigsaws creates personalised jigsaw puzzles using photographs and images supplied by our customers.

When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have uploaded the correct image
• Your image is of suitable quality
• You have selected the correct puzzle option and piece count
• Your shipping and contact information is correct
• You have reviewed your order before submitting it

Because custom puzzles are made specifically for you, orders generally cannot be changed or cancelled once they have entered production.

3. Your Uploaded Images

By uploading an image to Just Jigsaws, you confirm that you own the image or otherwise have the necessary permission or rights to use it and to have it reproduced as a custom product.

You retain ownership of your image.

You grant us the limited permission necessary to use, reproduce, crop, resize and otherwise process your uploaded image for the purpose of creating, fulfilling and supporting your order.

We will not acquire ownership of your photograph simply because you upload it to our website.

4. Prohibited Images

You must not upload images that:

• Infringe another person's copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights
• Violate another person's privacy or other legal rights
• Are unlawful
• Contain illegal sexual content
• Promote or depict unlawful activity in a manner prohibited by applicable law
• Otherwise cannot lawfully be reproduced by us

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe an uploaded image cannot lawfully or appropriately be reproduced.

If an order is cancelled by us before production for this reason, any appropriate refund will be processed to the original payment method, subject to applicable law.

5. Image Quality

The quality of your finished puzzle depends significantly on the quality of the image you provide.

For best results, we recommend uploading a clear, high-resolution original image over 1MB.

Images that are blurry, dark, pixelated, heavily compressed or low-resolution may produce a lower-quality printed result.

We are not responsible for quality issues that result directly from the quality of the image supplied by the customer, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Image Cropping

Our custom puzzles are produced in fixed rectangular formats.

If the proportions of your uploaded photograph differ from the format required for your selected puzzle, some cropping may be necessary.

We recommend choosing photographs with sufficient space around important faces, people, pets and other details.

By placing your order, you acknowledge that reasonable cropping may be required to produce your puzzle.

7. Colour Variations

Colours displayed on phones, tablets and computer screens can vary depending on the device, screen settings and display technology.

While we aim to reproduce your photograph accurately, minor differences in colour, brightness or appearance between your digital image and the printed puzzle may occur.

8. Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, piece counts and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Our current custom puzzle options include:

120 pieces — 25 × 20 cm
200 pieces — 35 × 25 cm
300 pieces — 38 × 26 cm
500 pieces — 52 × 38 cm
1,000 pieces — 75 × 50 cm
1,500 pieces — 87 × 57 cm
2,000 pieces — 100 × 70 cm

Minor variations that do not materially affect the use of the product may occur as part of the manufacturing process.

9. Prices & Payment

Prices displayed on our Canadian website are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and any other charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us, except where required to correct an obvious pricing error and permitted by applicable law.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order can be processed.

10. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• Payment cannot be processed
• A product or option is unavailable
• There has been an obvious pricing or website error
• We suspect fraudulent activity
• The uploaded content breaches these Terms
• We cannot legally fulfil the order

Where we cancel an order after payment has been collected and no product is supplied, we will issue an appropriate refund.

11. Changes & Cancellations

We begin processing personalised orders as quickly as possible.

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately.

Where your puzzle has not yet entered production, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Once production has begun, your puzzle generally cannot be changed or cancelled because it is being manufactured specifically for you.

Nothing in this section limits cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

12. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times displayed on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Occasionally, delays may occur due to carriers, weather, customs, peak periods or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Any rights you have in relation to delayed or undelivered online purchases under applicable provincial or territorial consumer law continue to apply.

13. Returns, Refunds & Defective Products

Because our custom puzzles are personalised and cannot ordinarily be resold, we do not accept change-of-mind returns on personalised puzzles once they have entered production, subject to applicable law.

This does not affect your rights where a product is defective, damaged, incorrect, not as described or where you otherwise have a remedy under applicable law.

14. Promotions & Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts, special offers or discount codes.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash
• Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively
• Only one discount code may be used per order
• Promotions may have specific eligibility requirements or expiry dates

Additional terms displayed with a particular promotion will also apply.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Just Jigsaws website — including our branding, logo, website design, written content, graphics and other materials — belongs to us or is used by us with permission.

You may not reproduce, distribute, copy, sell or commercially exploit our website content without permission.

This section does not give us ownership of photographs customers upload to create personalised puzzles.

16. Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party providers to provide services including payment processing, website hosting, order fulfilment, analytics and delivery.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their applicable terms and policies.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites that may be linked from our website.

17. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update, suspend or modify parts of the website when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or operational purposes.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Just Jigsaws will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products where such liability may lawfully be limited.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

19. Privacy

Your submission of personal information through our website is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Information and photographs supplied for personalised orders may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to manufacture, fulfil and deliver your order, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website, products or legal requirements.

The version published on this page at the time of your purchase will apply to your order, subject to applicable law.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the relevant transaction and the applicable laws of Canada.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from relying on mandatory rights or protections available under the laws of their province or territory.

Consumer contract and protection laws in Canada are substantially provincial and territorial, so I prefer this wording over a clause saying every Canadian customer must litigate exclusively in one particular province. ISED Canada
