Creating Your Puzzle
What kind of photo can I use?
You can turn almost any favourite photo into a custom jigsaw puzzle. Family photos, pets, weddings, holidays, landscapes and special memories all make wonderful puzzles.
For the best result, choose a clear, high-resolution photo with good lighting.
How do I upload my photo?
Simply choose your preferred piece count and upload your photo directly from your phone, tablet or computer.
What photo quality works best?
For the best print quality, we recommend uploading a clear, high-resolution image that is over 1MB.
Where possible, upload the original photograph rather than a screenshot or an image downloaded from social media, as these may have reduced image quality.
Will my photo be cropped?
Our puzzles are produced in a fixed rectangular format. If your uploaded photo has different proportions, some cropping may be required to make your image fit the puzzle.
We recommend choosing a photo with a little extra space around important faces, people, pets or other details.
Can I use an old photograph?
Absolutely. Old family photographs can make beautiful and meaningful custom puzzles. For the best result, scan your photograph at the highest quality available before uploading it.
Can I use a photo from Facebook or Instagram?
Yes, however social media platforms can reduce the quality of uploaded photographs. If you still have the original photo on your phone or computer, we recommend using that version instead.
Will the colours look exactly the same as my photo?
We reproduce your photograph as faithfully as possible. However, colours and brightness can appear slightly different in print compared with how they appear on a phone, tablet or computer screen.

We offer 7 different piece counts, so you can choose anything from a smaller, easier puzzle through to a challenging 2,000-piece puzzle.
120 pieces — 25 × 20 cm
200 pieces — 35 × 25 cm
300 pieces — 38 × 26 cm
500 pieces — 52 × 38 cm
1,000 pieces — 75 × 50 cm
1,500 pieces — 87 × 57 cm
2,000 pieces — 100 × 70 cm

Every Just Jigsaws custom puzzle includes:
- Your custom-printed jigsaw puzzle
- Puzzle box
- Reference picture
- Instructions
Everything you need to start puzzling is included.
Is every puzzle made from my own photo?
Yes. Your custom puzzle is individually created using the photograph you upload when placing your order.
Ordering
Can I order more than one custom puzzle?
Absolutely. You can create multiple puzzles using the same photograph or upload different photographs for each puzzle.
They also make wonderful personalised gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, weddings, Mother's Day, Father's Day and other special occasions.
Can I change my photo after placing my order?
If you need to change your photo, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
Because every puzzle is individually made, we may not be able to make changes once your order has entered production.
Can I cancel my custom puzzle?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order. As personalised puzzles are made specifically for you, orders that have already entered production may not be able to be changed or cancelled.

Do you deliver across Canada?
Yes. Just Jigsaws delivers to customers across Canada.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer FREE shipping on all orders.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
Once your order has been dispatched, we'll send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available.
Returns & Problems With Your Order
Can I return a custom puzzle?
Because custom puzzles are individually created using your chosen photograph, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns on personalised products.
If your puzzle arrives damaged, defective or there is a problem with your order, please contact us and our customer service team will be happy to help.
What if my puzzle arrives damaged?
Please contact us with your order number and photographs showing the problem. Our team will review the issue and help arrange an appropriate solution.
What if I think a puzzle piece is missing?
Please contact our customer service team with your order details and we'll be happy to investigate.
